Hotel Gangaaddara - Kandy

Great setting on river bend, helpful staff, charming atmosphere, wonderful food, fresh juices.

Stayed in a hotel located near a river, which was a lovely experience. It was situated in a serene environment, away from the bustling city. The staff were exceedingly helpful with an impeccable service that was truly delightful. The food was a delight to the taste buds, with fresh juices on offer as well.

There were a few areas that require attention. The fitness centre definitely requires some restoration since it is in ill-repair.

Spent my Xmas at a hotel just outside a bustling city in Sri Lanka. the best aspects were the scenic views from the room and friendly staff. the hotel had a small but adequate swimming pool which was useful in the heat. the location was perfect as it was situated close to the local bus stop and had easy access to transport links to explore the surrounding area.

The worst aspects were the extremely poor food hygiene. the food was uncovered and had flies all around it.

This hotel is a hidden gem! The location is amazing, with easy access to transport and fine views of the river and wildlife. The staff were attentive, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spacious and clean, and I loved having a balcony to relax on. Lastly, the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Not one thing.

This hotel is located in a beautiful area with breathtaking views. the staff is friendly and welcoming, always happy to assist you. the rooms are clean and equipped with all the basic necessities, with comfortable bedding and an attached bathroom with running hot water. Breakfast is decent and offered at a reasonable price.

The amenities are not maintained well, with malfunctioning electrical appliances such as the safe and TV. the fitness center is poorly maintained and unclean.
